Elevator Open to the Public!

We are pleased to announce that the new elevator is now open to the public. Please give it a try the next time you are at Albright.

Finishing Touches

All that is left now are the final details.

This is the First Floor entrance to the elevator. We just need to do a little cleanup, and it will be ready to use.

This is the interior of the elevator carriage. The door on the left will open to the walkway between the library and the Scranton Cultural Center. Note the glue on the floor. The carpeting installers were working when this photo was taken.

Warm and Inviting

The waiting area now has light and heat as the project nears completion.

This is the outside entrance. Note the titled floor. The elevator door still has its white protective covering, but will gleam silver when it is ready to ride.
